Make sure you read the fine print. In the case of T-Mobile Germany, you’ll be punished severely if you exceed their data limits. Most 3G operators will have the same restrictions, despite their marketing babble about “Internet Everywhere” and “Broadband on the Move” and most dishonest of all, “unlimited, flat-rate data!”
