Firm saves $70K by moving to Macs and using Basecamp

Topics: Money matters

In these very tough economic times, firms – large and small – are doing everything they can to save money. Quist Valuation, a finance firm, moved to the Mac platform and began using Basecamp, Highrise and Campfire (products of 37Signals). They saved $70,000 by doing this and tossing out their Microsoft software and equipment.

I use Highrise and Backpack, which are also from 37 Signals. I have used Basecamp in the past. I recommend these online software programs to any entrepreneur who wants to save money and streamline his or her business. I have also been using Macs since 2002 (now I have a Mac Book Pro) and have never looked back.
