An iPod has reportedly exploded in the Belgian city of Bergen. The owner, Debora Bellomo, says that she was charging her iPod when suddenly she heard a small explosion, then saw smoke in the room. This is the first reported iPod explosion in Belgium. Belgians have previously reported iPhone explosions, but never for the iPod.
In August of this year, EU Commissioner Meglena Kuneva (Consumer Protection) had asked Apple to explain why iPhones have been exploding in Europe.
