MyPokerCoach.net is a free online poker coaching service founded by Thomas Kessler. It is the only company to provide poker coaching for free. Their methodology is based on artificial intelligence (i.e. a robot) that they claim is much better than the most powerful commercial tools. In addition, the tool doesn’t require any installation (i.e. runs entirely in the web browser window). MyPokerCoach also has a Pro version, which is a paid service. The Pro version offers detailed statistics on your performance, allowing you to even further improve your game; personalized coaching, taking into account your learning track; and participation to the Top-10 bankrolls competition.

When did you start MyPokerCoach?
We released the beta version in May 2009 and the final version in January 2010.

Brussels, Belgium.
What inspired you to create this application?
I wanted to leverage my Artificial Intelligence knowledge and my poker skills.
How many people work at your company (including contractors)?
The number varies between 1 and 5, depending on the stage (e.g. early on I had a poker pro player to help advise on the best game style, later on I had designers for the website and game).
Are you self-funded or do you have angel investors?
So far self-funded.
